My Review of the Sticky&Sweet TourThe wait was finally over and the day finally came for the Sticky&Sweet tour. The tour came to Oakland, California(2nd biggest city in the San Francisco Area) at the Oracle Arena on Saturday Nov 1st 2008. Going to the show was pretty rough. It was raining really bad and traffic was slow everywhere. But my friend and I eventually made it to the arena. We got their around 8:20pm and headed to our seats(we were on the lower level no where near the main floor). Then 10 mins later the lights turned down and the show was starting.
The intro was just too insane. I felt like I was inside a freaking gumball machine or inside willy wanka's candy factory or something. It was just great. Then she came out with "candyshop" sitting on her thrown. The show had themes! Pimp, Old School, Latin Gypsy, and Futuristic Cyberkid Raver. She sang alot of oldies but goodies.
The highlights
for me was when Madonna sang "Human Nature" and Britney Spears poped up on the visual screens. Also when she sang "she's not me" and was making fun of her past from the "Like a virgin" days to "open your heart". All over her dancers(or drag queens. I couldnt tell lol) were dressed up as her. When Madonna snatched a wedding vale from her dancers, she almost slipped and put the wedding vale on to a dancer that looked like her in the past and started making out with her AHHAHAHA.
I really liked the Video/Visual Interlude with "Here comes the rain again" with "rain". It was very different than all of her other interludes that she did on the other tours. After that she sang "the devil wouldn't reconize you" the song was very chilling live and was really cool that she was singing inside the circular visual screen at the end of the run way. Her outfit was hot. What kinda ruined it for me was those 2 dancers that were in that song and was tip toeing next to her I really liked "Miles away" and sang along like crazy! The visuals on the screen really made me feel emotional. But it was very good!
Then the "get stupid" video interlude came on and LOL the crowd whet nuts when the video showed Barack Obama. everyone started booing when the video showed John McCain! LOL! Then the futuristic cyber rave look theme came and LOL!!! I love madonna but..the outfit..was just terrible. She looked like an American Football player. She looked like she was gonna attack the dancers. but luckly she took off some of her outfit and sang a REALLY REALLY GREAT remix of "Like a prayer"
I went nuts "Like a prayer" mixed in with Meck feat Dino "Feels like home". I never heard such a great mixture of 2 really great songs. The performance was also very emotional for me as well! Up on the Visual Screens she had very spiritual messages that made me almost cry and made me feel very good inside. It was very over whelming(in a good way) but very postive(I had a moment im sorry LOL ). Then ray of light came on and I turned to my friend and said "ohh look were revisiting the confessions tour again" But the song was ok!! i think I perfer the Confessions tour version better. After she sang ray of light she was talking to the crowd and she was happy to be back in The San Francisco-Oakland Bay Area!! She was also getting people to pumped up to go vote. She also said "vote no on prop 8 so that everyone one can get married" . After her speach..she went up to a fan in the front row and asked him what song she sould sing. Someone said "Causing a commotion" but she refused to sing it LOL
Then someone else got a chance and told her to sing "Justify my love" LOL. She then said.."Sorry, all I do is talk...and fuck in the song" She went to the other side of the run way and someone asked her to sing "like a virgin". She sang "like a virgin" and then ended the show with "Hung up and Give it 2 me".
I would give this show an 9/10. I really liked it becuase she sang alot of the older songs. It was also more of a Interlude/Visual concert with amazing visuals on the screns (I dont like saying backdrop. It sounds really nasty). What I didn't really liked was what venue she choosed (Oracle Arena), and the DJ that was constantly scratching almost through out the songs. The dj that was on the tour really annoyed me lol!!! but over all great show!

Well...Jason is cute, but the only thing that is hot on him is his BUTT!! Now, we can all arugue which ass is hot, but after seeing some clips from RIT, Confessions, and S&S, I can say that his ass is bootylicious
