My Story of CloudI'm still not sure how I aquired free tickets to see the ReInvention Tour, but it changed my life.
One of my most vivid memories from the concert has to be the moment I picked my jaw up off the floor and stared in utter bewilderment at the crazy clown dancer named Cloud (how's that for alliteration?). His talent seemed physically impossible and, although the night was centered on our favorite diva and impactful messages, all eyes gladly shifted gaze his way.
As a poor college student, I was hoping to come by free tickets for the Confessions Tour, but, again, I'm still not sure how I did it the first time. Last night's broadcast on NBC was a welcomed substitute, however, and reminded me of Cloud's amazing abilities.
Growing up the gay son of a Southern-Baptist-minister-father, I immediately related to Cloud's personal story. He's got it right: get knocked down, pick yourself up, hone your craft and have fun with it. Instances like these make you the best at what you do and there's a certain sense of responsiblity that comes with talent. But, mostly the fun's important (did anyone else notice his tongue during NBC's Music Inferno?).
To Cloud, thank you for believing in yourself and spreading your wings in such inspiring ways. There are plenty of reasons why you deserve forums and legions of fans, too. I'm happy to share my words and I hope they find you well.

PS--Was dancing in the collar annoying? It looked great, but it seems like the last thing you should wear when your head-area plays such an important part to your mobility.
