The Blond AmbitionI am talking about the most smashing tour of Madonna (equal only to Confessions) No I had read so many things about it, and when I finally started seeing it in chunks in YouTube I didn't find what I excpepted. But then I thought that no artist at that time had touched religion and sex so raw, like Madonna did. Plus, I just died when I saw her dancing with the ponytail. And also the cone braw is just fabulous. Lets talk about the tour (some of you may have been there) and about its releases (DVD, VHS or anything) and how good was the tour overall.

I was too young to go to see the tour but saw it on TV. You can only get hold of bootleg DVDs of it as it was never released on VHS or DVD. It was released on laserdisc which is no longer available and the bootleg DVDs are digital transfers from the laserdiscs. Two shows were released on laserdisc, the show from Yokohama in Japan with the ponytail (the ponytail was actually fake) and Nice. The documentary Truth Or Dare/In Bed With Madonna contains clips of the show, much like IGTTYAS.

That must have been so cool to see it, Sharon. I was way too young to go and see it and wasn't really a huge music fan then but I remember watching it on TV with all the "naughty bits" taken out. I've got the bootleg DVDs of it and it's just amazing.
