Wanting For You To Justify My LoveThe song "Justify My Love" contained in the Immacualte Collection was a prelude for Madonna's Erotica Album. It's explicit video was the first that was ever banned on MTV, but everyone knew that this wasn't the end. Maddy did release the erotica album, wich contained many wonderfull songs, along with three of them that caused global controversy. "Erotica" was a therotical song about sex, "Where Life Begins" described the sexual act between a man and a woman and "Did You Do It?" told about a man who has rough sex with a woman, by using symbolisms. Just so you know, the lyrics where so explicit that they weren't even printed in the Lyrics Book that accompanied the CD. But the little Material Girl didn't stop there. She published the cofee table book SEX which drove the media into madness, and was the only Cofee Table Book that had such critical sucess. Till this day it's prices on the web can go even at 500$. Everyone agreed that she had gone too far, but Madonna didn't listen and stared in an infamous movie called "Body of Evidence" a softcore porn, copy version of Basic Instict. All this controversy hurt Madonna; the backlush that was caused destroyed Erotica's Sales. But Madonna continued her career, and today most of her fans agree that what se presented at that time was crucial for our time, because it made TV, much more softer about what sould be considered "explicit" and what should not. I agree that it was another perfect Madonna era. What do you think?
