Who's gonna go to a Sticky & Sweet Show???I'm sooooooooo overwhelmed, madonna.com just announced a couple of days ago that the Sticky & Sweet Tour will come to Athens, GREECE!!!!!!!! So I'm keeping my fingers crossed to get a good ticket!!!the only thing that bumps me is that Cloud's not gonna be there

Actually, my school organizes a tour across Greece for 6 days, and concert came right in time. I'm hoping for golden circle!

I'm going to Wembley, and I've got really mixed feelings. I'm not sure whether a stadium is the right place for a Madonna concert, and there's no Cloud.

for now the Oakland show is the onlys how im attending. I wish she could use the HP Pavilion in San Jose(such fond confessions tour memories! ) oh well!

I got my tickets for Athens YAY!!
you wouldn't believe what a PANIC day it was yesterday (1st day of the presale). I ordered mine online and the site kept crashing and I was afraid that my reservation would fly away! But I received the email confirmation today!! YES!! I'll be at PITCH A, standing in the front part of the stadium! |

Wild Rose is right. I saw the news on TV. All channels showed people standing under the blistering sun for hours to get one ticket. Some of them were waiting from 1 or 2 am. Too bad i can't go

Hi! I was at Rome on 09/06! Do you really go to all those cities following the show?!? if I knew it, I should looking for you at the stadio olimpico! PS sorry for my english... i don't write in english lots of times.... Anyway the show it's amazing! It's different than confessions, it's without breaks! you start dancing for 2 hours non-stop! At Rome she talked more than older tours with the crowd! she really looks like enjoing during the entire show! When she dedicated like a virgin to the pope, I've had a heartbreak (in a good sense, obviusly)! the day after me and my friend Bea have visited the Vaticano with Madonna's t-shirts..... everyone looking us just like 2 aliens! hihihi!!! 2 only things was negatives: la isla bonita was exactly the same of the Live earth version (however, see it live it's incredible!), and cloud was not in the show! i've missed the confessions tour and the reinvention tour is not passed by Italy.... so i never see him dancing live!

Confessions didn't have breaks either! but the most of the songs were power ballads yes! anyway, Madonna knows how to pull out GREAT shows!

yeah you're right! with "different than CT" i mean that the S&S is more energetic and she have more moments to speak with the crowd, it's like a big big party! the confessions (that still one of my favourite tours) is more theatrical, more structured! lots of times in Rome during the CT the people who watched it from the higest places (i don't know how to translate "tribuna" in english, sorry!) was sitting, not because the show was boring, but because it was beautiful to watch (example during paradise not for me, substitute for love, erotica or lucky star ecc...). In S&S people was sitting only for rain and you must love me, exept those 2 songs, all the stadium was dancing, because the show was a mega dancefloor! both of them are beautiful, but in differents ways! anyway Madonna still reinvent herself not only in her style, but even in her tours! She never do the same things! this is why i love her! |

i agree - it seems second rate considering confessions was so extravagant and genious - this one just dosent seem that exciting and as anticipated as her last - and as for tha album hmmmmmmm - give her credit for the devil and a couple of others but she really needs patrick leonard to get back intoclassic songs - dont think theres one song hes contributed to that was bad - o and spike stent too - oh the good ol days - i just cant see hard candy standing the test of time - i mean "my sugar is raw" - hardly gonna be remembered for the right reasons is it

erm..I wouldn't take it THAT far! all I was trying to really point out that this tour would've been better if it happened next year(spring/summer). She just put out an album in april. If I were her I would be still making videos to the upcoming singles then worrying about the tour later on. But she wants to do it NOW which makes me not prepared imo. the last tour I had time to save up on money and figure out where to see her. Now i dunno. I'll still go though even though she's going to be playing on a chilly night in November!

I like chilly nights (all be it wrapped up warm) i dont quite like sticky and sweet - (going by what ive seen and heard) she needs to tart it up - i mean i wasnt a fan of the original like a virgin - the remastered confessions version is class and is always one i have on nowadays (CT vers not original) maybe the downscale is her doing her bit for global warming - who knows

Sticky & Sweet at Wembley was amazing. I'm not sure if it was better than Confessions or not, but no way was it inferior. The stage set is really elaborate, with more props than Confessions.
The new version of Like A Prayer is mammoth, although the rock version of Hung Up is just plain crap. Who else has seen the show so far? |

Guys.... I was in the Athens show on Saturday... more than 72,000 fans in the Olympic Stadium hailed the Queen!!!!!!!!

isnt this tour lacking in even great costumes?? is it a purpose thing...
like if this one dosent really impress you - the next one should - a bit like the reinvention compared to the great confessions - not that any are terrible but im not immpressed - and pleasssssssssssssse - get rid of the guitar remakes etc - how BBBBOOORING!!!

well I was having a really bad summer this year so I wasn't sure if I was honestly ready to go see her. But after getting myself together(one day at a time lol) I am very excited to see her. I need to see her so I can appericate good times and good fun! TONIGHT IS ON and San Francisco/Oakland is really rainy and im still going hahaha
